Follow Mouse through a whole year in the woods, one puzzle piece at a time. Alice Melvin's Mouse's Wood Story Puzzle forms a ring of twelve double-sided pieces, one for each month. Turn each piece over to find the month, its season, and a short passage from Mouse's journey, ready to read aloud as the year takes shape. The included foldout poster shows a great tree through all four seasons, busy with animals, birds, and flowers. On the reverse, a nature guide introduces the plants and creatures Mouse meets along the way. A companion to the Mouse's Wood books, this circular jigsaw gives little ones a hands-on way to explore the months and changing seasons.
