With the solstice approaching, this winter gnome father is tending roots and seeds and guarding the earth for spring. Handmade in Romania from wool felt and cotton, the fair-skinned Ambrosius doll has flexible limbs for woodland adventures and make-believe. Set him on a nature table, let him keep watch on a shelf, or invite him into the next story. Winter is a busy season beneath the surface.
